Afrolatinos: The Untaught Story: UN LLAMADO! A Petition!

Dear Media Executives, Political and Religious Leaders, Celebrities, family and friends;
We are writing to express our disappointment that several networks we have reached out to, both nationally and internationally have not picked up our program.
We are requesting your signature in support of Afrolatinos: The Untaught Story.
There are an estimated 150 million afro-descendants in Latin America, many of which do not have political or economic power. This documentary television series aims to educate and initiate social change for this community of people.
The purpose of our petition:
1. Gain network attention
2. Get support from government and community agencies/organizations
3. Give back to the community by telling this story
2011 was named the International Year for People of African Descent by the United Nations for which events were held internationally and organizations held meetings in order to promote the celebration of people of African descent throughout the diaspora.
It was as an opportunity to fight against racism, racial discrimination, and the xenophobia that effects people of African descent.
